Investigation into foul odour
Following a recent investigation, a problem arose with a foul drainage system at Regent College. We commenced work at 7am. By 7.30am, we identified the exact nature of the problem and devised a working method to eradicate the problem. The investigation work was completed by 8.30am. Our client was informed about the nature of the problem immediately. Following the survey, the client gave us a formal instruction to commence remedial work at a later date. A 20 year mysterious problem was solved when we found that the foul drainage system serving a property in Leicester was not connected to a public (main) sewer in the road. Following an investigation, we realised that the sewer needed the intervention with the Authorities. The connection was made to the public sewer, which allowed normal foul flow to drain from the property to the public sewer. A local Letting Agent instructed RNLDS to investigate a major foul flooding to a domestic property. The detailed investigation revealed that the manhole at the front of the property was completely surcharged (full) of raw sewage, which was causing the foul flooding of the property.
